Helpful strategies to improve Alexa Traffic Ranking

Alexa ranks each website based on the number of visitors it receives. As far my website is concerned, it's not having good ranking in Alexa. After reading and analyzing a lot, I reached to use few strategies to improve ranking in Alexa. Now the improvement is definately showing there. If you are not happy with traffic ranking in Alexa so I will suggest you, use some tactics for improving ranking in Alexa.

1. Download the Alexa toolbar and use it every day to visit your own website. Alexa gives us the ability to co-brand the toolbar with our own logo.

2. Wherever you provide a link to your website, be sure to use the equivalent Aexa redirect URL. When providing a link to my website, we use http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.fortunehotels.in.">www.fortunehotels.in.">http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.fortunehotels.in. Simply, replace my domain by your domain name in the end of the redirection url and use it.

3. You should encourage your website visitors to add their positive testimonials on Alexa’s detailed listings page for your website. This can be done by placing a link to the appropriate Alexa page on your website and asking visitors to “Click here to rate this website” By clicking on the URL : http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?url=www.fortunehotels.in,">www.fortunehotels.in,">http://www.alexa.com/data/details/main?url=www.fortunehotels.in, visitors will be able to reach your detailed rating page and write a review using the review link

4. You can place interactive updated Alexa widgets on your site. Pick up html code of Alexa widget from http://alexa.com/site/site_stats/signup and put that code on your website.

5. You should get listed on as many search engines as possible by placing a free listing in DMOZ.

6. You can write your own site reviews on the top 50 sites are coming in Alexa and also include your redirect URL as already I have discussed above (http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.fortunehotels.in).">www.fortunehotels.in).">http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.fortunehotels.in).
