Communications in this aspect does not mean advertising and hard selling of the product but rather addressing the need of the customer. This is true with the internet. This means that the solution is not a single SEO technique but rather a series of strategies to address the need. The agent should make his presence the answer to the needs and expectations of the client. Most relationship conflicts happen when expectations are not clarified leading to miscommunication and misunderstanding.

Open communication. While the SEO agent is the one that should be able to meet the expectations of the client, the client on the other hand has the responsibilities to inform the agent on his moves that would affect the website campaign efforts; this includes web development and other strategies.

Willingness to accept mistakes. There should be a two-way communication between the agent and the client, a partnership that would last a lifetime. This means that when a job is not properly done, the agent should be willing to accept the mistake and likewise when a good job is done, recognition will be as great.

Trust and honesty is the old age factor that becomes the key to every relationship success. This is true even with business relationships. It is through honesty and trust that client and agent are able to establish the relationship especially the relationship is virtual and there is no immediate presence.
