One of the top searches on the entire Internet has been a search related to ways to make money online. The list of ways the search is asked is endless but in the final analysis people are hungry for a Real Business Opportunity. Did you notice I said “real” and for good reason the vast amount of Real Business Opportunities available on the net are limited to a select few.
Now don’t get me wrong there are plenty of real web sites that offer you bait to enlist into a real program but sadly the program is designed around making the web site owner money and using you as a conduit to that end. If you make any money at all it is miniscule with no long-term prosperity.
Then there are those traditional opportunities everyone has heard about such as Data Entry Jobs, Stuffing Envelopes, Taking Surveys, Ghost Shopping, Telemarketing at Home etc. etc. Sure there may be some legitimate business opportunities in some of these fields but here again the possibility of making more then a few dollars here and there is limited.
Crafty entrepreneurs exploiting your passion to earn some extra money at home are duping millions of sincere people. The concept of earning a living from your computer is overwhelmingly appealing and for that reason alone you become vulnerable prey for the dark side of Internet marketing.
When searching for a Real Business Opportunity on the Internet there are some things you need to ask.
1. Is the company listed with the local Better Business Bureau and are there outstanding complaints against them?
2. Is the company nationally known and respected in its business community?
3. Is the owner/founder/board of directors listed?
4. Does the program detail clearly the moneymaking opportunity or is it vague?
5. Are their endorsements from people who have tried that program and can you contact them?
6. How much is it going to cost ME to enroll in the program and if it’s free you probably won’t make any money.
7. If there is selling involved is the product nationally known with a worthy reputation and in demand?
8. Can you enroll new people into the business and receive monetary rewards when they sell a product?
9. Do you receive a free web site to help promote your online business and can you sell from your web site?
10. Can you sell these products in a brick and mortar store?
11. Can you promote your business using the media?
12. Does the company give you the support required for YOU to succeed or is the emphasis on them?
13. Are you looking for a long-term commitment with a solid company or quick “make a few bucks” and get out scenario?
14. Am I willing to make a commitment that is lasting, rewarding, substantial, and that is a “Real Business Opportunity” or am I willing to take the road well traveled to disappointment and despair with little or no earning value?
I have been involved with Internet marketing since 1999 and have seen the “make money quick schemes” grows exponentially over the years with little exception the site creator being the recipient of the money made. It is rare to find a truly Real Business Opportunity that has little start up cost with a nationally known company that places emphasis on you as a partner and you as a customer. I am pleased to be associated with such a company.
If you’re willing to make an effort to succeed in your own business with a solid nationally known company then perhaps you have what it takes to become a successful business owner. On the other hand you can continue down the dead end streets of Internet marketing paved with disappointments and failed attempts to make some money. Nothing good with lasting value can be achieved overnight so my advice is to choose the road less traveled and plant your feet firmly upon proven success, roll up your sleeves and get to work.
