Now days the increasing numbers of fire accidents have made fire the biggest ever threat for the homes and offices. It has been seen that almost 80% of the fire cases have been occurred in the residential buildings. There is also a specific reason that why maximum cases of fire occur in the houses and the actual reason is the ignorance and the carelessness of the people. There are people who left their gases open and because of which these fire accidents occur. Also there is another reason for this and that is usually people neither they install any Fire Risk Assessment in their homes nor they have any plans for evacuation.

This has been advised by the govt. and also all the architects are taught that while designing house or office they should work over the fire issues. Even if advised by an architect people do not feel the need of fire fighting equipments, at least they should have a fire extinguisher through which they can put out the fire out of the reach of other combustible elements. These fire extinguishers are also of different varieties. There are n numbers of fire extinguishers and usually they are divided in four categories named Class A, B, C and D.

The fire extinguisher training which fall under these four categories are used for different purpose. For example Class A fire extinguishers are used for the fire because of paper, wooden, cardboards etc where as Class B is used for the little combustible elements. Similarly, Class C and D are used for highly flammable elements and laboratory’s liquids such as sodium, potassium etc.

Apart from the Fire Marshal there should be some masks available in the premises. It is believed that there are chances of death because of the suffocation from the tale of fire that is its smoke. In a recent research it has been found that from the total people dead, there were 4% people who died because of the suffocation due to the smoke. Smoke detectors are the only thing which could be said as the resolution fort this issue.

If in an office smoke detectors are installed then one can stop the smoke from being spread. It has been found that people install smoke detectors but they do not upkeep or maintain them and they stops working. At that time of use these detectors are found dead and at that particular time there is no way out.
