There has been an increasing interest in earning extra income from home. However of 10 programs advertising themselves on internet one can find one legitimate program. Therefore there has been an increasing fear among those who desire to make a fortune online. How can one tell a legitimate program before he/she spends his/her money? Is the question that must be answered to avoid being scammed.

The most important aspect to note in online purchasing is the card processing. This is important because everyone need assurance that their financial information and account is safe therefore legitimate online merchant use proven account processors like paypal, alertpay, worldpay and others. These companies have a process of verifying these merchants therefore legitimate programs must have proven card processing that is secure.

For affiliate marketing, legitimate programs also have a link that brings together affiliates and merchants. These affiliate networks also link with card processors giving an affiliate a sense of security and confidence. For example we consider the best work from home program – Global data entry by My-data-team. This is a program that has supported many people to earn thousands of dollars from home. To demonstrate my point let me show the linkage I talked about that makes My-data-team a legitimate program. It has two administrative accounts; click bank and paydotcom.com. Click bank has over 11,000 companies or merchants and paydotcom.com has 6,000 merchants. These programs work with paypal as card processors. Therefore legitimate programs form a linkage with affiliate networks like paydotcom.com, click2sell, click bank, pepper jam, affiliate future and others which in turn form linkages with card processors giving an affiliate or online buyer confidence and a sense of security.

Why is this linkage so important? You realize that in this process the real transaction is not done directly by the merchant. For example is an affiliate needs a submitter to boast his/her own online business. Then he/she comes across an advert of the gold submitter sold at $34.95. This submitter is only made available in marketplace of these affiliate networks which in return directs a buyer to card processor like paypal. Paypal then processes a percentage (commission) to go to the affiliate marketer’s account in these affiliate networks then a remaining percentage to the merchant. In this way the buyer is secure, also the marketer is sure of his/her commission making it a legitimate business.

This however doesnot mean that any merchant who is not linked with the affiliate network is not legitimate. I have come across merchants who are not part of these networks but are legitimate. But this still takes us back to our first point. The only thing any person dealing in online purchasing is the fact that in the end he/she will have a real value of what he/she has spent for. If it is purchasing, then a product delivered or if it work done, then payment at the end. Therefore card processing is the most important aspect to note when dealing with online marketing. Consider secure payment systems like paypal and alertpay
